Un mes más

I promise once I actually get to Kenya I will blog more. To get you caught up on my life since my last post:

school-study-school-study-sleep-school-study (repeat)

Which brings us to mid April. I am consistently blown away by the overwhelming support that I am receiving from friends, family, and church members. The Lord is faithful. Jehovah-Jireh, the Lord will provide!

I recently read through Romans chapter 12. It has some extremely powerful stuff.

"I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship." --Romans 12:1

This verse reminds me of another verse, James 1:22

"But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves."

Reading in James always reminds me of this verse:

"yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes." --James 4:14

Life is short, it is a vapor. Jesus told me to go (or as I am going) and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19). Life is too short to not do that right now.
